Welcome to our school website

Sandymount Park Educate Together Secondary School opened as Dublin South City Educate Together Secondary School on August 27th 2018. Our name reflects the location of our permanent school building; Roslyn Park, Beach Road, Sandymount. Roslyn Park was formerly known as Sandymount Park and is the site of the beautiful Gandon Villa, designed around 1790 by the great architect James Gandon, for his friend, the landscape painter William Ashford. Planning permission for the new school was granted in February 2021.

Our current enrolment is 308 students from 1st year to Fifth Year.

Ethos

In our school, the Educate Together ethos is key to all that we do. The more obvious facets of the ethos are that we wear no uniform and use first names with students/teachers/parents. We are co-ed with equality of opportunity regardless of social, cultural or religious background. A central and defining facet of Educate Together and Sandymount Park ETSS is that our school is learner centred.
