Careers Fair
Our Careers Fair brought a wonderful buzz to the school this week, with parents and members of the wider community joining us to share their career journeys. The atmosphere was lively from the start, as students moved from table to table discovering an impressive range of professions—from science and technology to the arts, business, healthcare, law, engineering and everything in between. What really stood out was the quality of the conversations. Students asked thoughtful questions, volunteers spoke openly about the twists and turns of their own paths, and more than a few students left saying, “I’d love that job!”
The feedback afterwards was just as positive. Students loved hearing real stories from real people, and our volunteers told us how much they enjoyed meeting such curious and engaged young people. A huge thank you goes to Elaine and Siobhán for organising the day so smoothly, and to our TY Co-ordinator Susan for calmly arranging a last-minute venue change when unforeseen circumstances arose. And of course, sincere thanks to all the volunteers who generously donated their time, enthusiasm and expertise. You helped make the event a real highlight of the school year.
