Parent Association Talk: Communication Strategies with Teenagers
A huge thank you to parent John McAteer for leading and facilitating a thoughtful and engaging session on developing communication strategies between parents and teenagers. The talk explored key aspects of adolescent brain development and offered valuable insights into the influence of social media on teenage behaviour.
John provided practical, evidence-based strategies for improving communication and strengthening relationships at home. Parents left the session with tools they could use straight away and a deeper understanding of the teenage perspective.
