Careers Fair
On Wednesday 29th of November we were delighted to host our first Careers Fair where 27 contributors generously lent their time and expertise and shared their unique career insights with students from 1st to 6th year. In ‘speed dating’ style, contributors spoke to over 200 students across 2 hours, it was thirsty work and all were glad of the refreshments offered by the Parent Association. Students were captivated listening to the pros and cons, highs and lows of a wide variety of professions and industries: healthcare, law, tech, engineering, construction, creative arts, writing, film, media, graphic design, business, Gardai, community development, politics, ecology and conservation. We are very grateful to the contributors for supporting this fantastic community event and look forward to next year!
