We are so proud of Josh who came 1st in the junior category of the An Post Scéal Eile creative writing competition. His story, written from the perspective of Daisy the dog in Wonder, brought a tear to many eyes when he read it at assembly on Friday morning .
We are delighted to announce that Brian O’Malley has been appointed Deputy Principal of Sandymount Park Educate Together Secondary School. Brian has joined us from Hartstown Community School where he taught Maths, Economics and IT and was involved in numerous extra and co-curricular activities such as GAA, Basketball and Maths Club. Brian has a keen interest in Junior Cycle and school development and has worked with the PDST as a member of the Maths Development Team. Brian is currently completing a MEd in Maynooth University; specializing in Teacher Education.

Enrolment for 2020 will open from Monday September 16th 2019 to 12pm on Friday October 25th 2019. Forms will be available to download or collect from the school office during this period. Places will be allocated according to our 2020 Admissions Policy available below. Entry to our ASD Special Class is via ordinary enrolment. Our ASD Special Class is currently at capacity.
Our student led newspaper Sandymount Park Press released their first issue at the end of term 1. Well done on a great achievement and we look forward to issue 2.
We are changing our name to Sandymount Park Educate Together Secondary School. Sandymount Park is the original name of our beautiful site where in 1790 renowned architect James Gandon built Sandymount Park House now Gandon Villa. Gandon Villa will form part of our permanent school building.
Dublin South City Educate Together Secondary School is delighted to announce that we are a Droichead school. The Droichead process is an integrated professional induction framework for newly qualified teachers (NQTs). The main objective of the Droichead process is to support the professional learning of the NQTs during the induction phase, thus laying the foundations for subsequent professional growth and learning for the next phase of their career.
