Summer Newsletter 2024
We have come to the end of the academic year with the last Leaving Certificate exam taking place today. Well done to Junior Cycle and Leaving Certificate students who worked diligently throughout the exams and can look forward to a well earned break over the summer months.
It was another exceptionally busy year in Sandymount Park with a wide range of events, festivals, trips, themed weeks, matches and our first Whole School Evaluation. This is the most comprehensive evaluation carried out on schools by the Department of Education’s Inspectorate’s team. It involved extensive engagement with the students, staff, parents, Parents’ Association, Board of Management and school leadership team. The findings of the Inspectorate team were highly complimentary of Sandymount Park and we can, as a whole school community, take great pride in the report.
