Laura joined Sandymount Park ETSS in August 2021. She is a teacher of Business and Coding. Laura also supports students with additional learning needs and is involved with developing and delivering our mentoring programme. Laura graduated from DCU, with a Bachelor of Business Studies Degree. She then worked in the legal industry before completing a PGCE in Business and Economics Education from the Institute of Education, UCL. She taught Business and Economics in London for ten years before joining Sandymount Park.
Laura runs the afterschool Enterprise club and delivers the Student Enterprise Programme for our TY students. She is passionate about enterprise education and fostering links with local businesses. She believes these opportunities are crucial in helping our students develop the critical thinking, entrepreneurial and innovation skills needed to prepare for their future.
