Gaeilge,  Artistic Performance

Rosie is a Gaeilge and Artistic Performance teacher who joined Sandymount Park ETSS in 2021. She studied Nua-Ghaeilge and Music in Maynooth University where she graduated in 2016 and then went on to do a Professional Masters in Education in Maynooth University where she focused on classroom management and relationship building, graduating in 2018. Rosie is very passionate about teaching Irish and also has experience in Adult Education, and has worked in the Gaeltacht teaching with Coláiste Lurgan for six years. 

At Sandymount Park Rosie is our Transition Year tutor and she works diligently to create strong relationships with students and has attended various workshops on restorative practice to ensure a consistent, positive environment in all of her classrooms. Rosie  is passionate about building student confidence both in and outside of the classroom. She is involved in establishing Sandymount Park’s first Coiste Gaeilge – a committee of students working to make the school more bilingual and trying to earn our Gaelbhratach – and is also working hard as part of our Aesthetics Team to bring you Sandymount Park’s first annual TY Musical Production.
